Writer/Director
Graeme Ball is a freelance director, writer and editor with numerous credits in television and film. He has directed and edited multiple episodes for History Channel’s
The Naked Archaeologist and was nominated for a Gemini award for "Best Writing" in 2008. His editing credits include: The Exodus Decoded; Continuous Journey; and Lilith
on Top (a feature chronicling Sarah McLachlan's all-female rock n' roll tour). He has edited series for National Geographic (Crisis Zone: Doctors Without Borders) and
Discovery (Blueprint for Disaster) as well as directed his own award-winning feature documentary, Yukonna, which follows a four-month rafting trip down the Yukon River.
Producer
With an unparalleled career exploring controversial issues, producer/director Ric Esther Bienstock is one of Canada’s finest documentary filmmakers and has garnered almost
every industry award since beginning her career. She most recently won a U.S. Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism for her film Sex Slaves. Sex Slaves (also
released as The Real Sex Traffic) investigates the trafficking of women from the former Soviet bloc into the global sex slave trade. The film also garnered the Edward R.
Murrow Award from the Overseas Press Club of America, the 2006 British Broadcast Award for Best Documentary, a Royal Television Society Award in the U.K. and was nominated
for a British Academy Award (BAFTA). Written, directed and produced by Bienstock, this is the first film to take viewers inside the world of trafficking to meet victims, their
families and the traffickers.
Bienstock’s films have aired internationally by broadcasters including PBS, A&E, TLC, Channel 4 and Sky (U.K.), Discovery, CNN, BBC, HBO, CBC, History Television, SBS and
ABC in Australia among others.
Her films include Impact of Terror (CBC, CNN), an award-winning documentary about the ripple effects of a suicide bombing in Israel and the Genie Award winning documentary,
Deadly Currents.
Ebola: Inside an Outbreak (released internationally as Plague Fighters) for PBS’ NOVA, Channel 4 and the CBC took Bienstock and her crew behind the quarantine lines of the
1995 Ebola outbreak in Zaire. The only film team granted full access to the restricted areas, she remained at the epicenter of the outbreak in order to capture the inside
story of the epidemic as it unfolded. Directed and produced by Bienstock, Ebola has received numerous international awards including a Gemini Award and the Alfred I.
Dupont-Columbia University Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism. Bienstock also served as location director for the widely acclaimed Plague Monkeys, which also won
an Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism.
Bienstock’s credits include series producer, director and writer of a three-part documentary special on the roots of magic with Las Vegas magicians Penn & Teller, Penn &
Teller’s Magic and Mystery Tour (CBC, Channel 4, The Learning Channel). She produced and directed a feature-length prime-time television special on the business of boxing
entitled Boxing: In and Out of the Ring (A&E, SKY-TV (U.K.), TV Ontario). She wrote and directed The Money Shot (History Television, CBC, ITV), a revealing behind-the-scenes
look at the hard-core porno industry. She served as supervising producer on the feature length documentary The Struma (History Television, HBO, Channel 4) as well as A
Child’s Choice/A Time to Live (Live, Channel 4 and Discovery U.S.). Bienstock produced and directed the acclaimed documentary Ms. Conceptions, which was honored with a
Gemini Award for Best Documentary and a Distinguished Documentary Achievement Award from the IDA in Los Angeles.

Felix Golubev is one of Canada’s top documentary film producers. His most resent documentaries are: Charging the Rhino for VisionTV Canada; and the award-winning
feature-length documentaries: The Exodus Decoded for The History Channel USA and Discovery Channel Canada; and Sex Slaves for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation,
Channel 4 U.K. and PBS Frontline, which won the 2007 Emmy Award for the Outstanding Investigative Journalism as well as the Edward R. Murrow Award (Overseas Press Club
of America).
Golubev recently co-produced the award-winning feature-length documentaries: The Exodus Decoded for The History Channel USA and Discovery Channel Canada; and Sex Slaves for
the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Channel 4 U.K. and PBS Frontline, which won the 2007 Emmy Award for the Outstanding Investigative Journalism as well as the Edward R.

Golubev also executive produced the one-hour documentary Impact of Terror (2004) for CNN Presents, which won the Overseas Press Club of America Award in 2005 as well as the
eight-part series Betrayal! for History Television Canada and History Channel U.K. (2004). Before that he produced the critically acclaimed James, Brother of Jesus (2003)
for Discovery International; and The Struma (2001), for HBO, Cinemax.
Golubev has also worked as an Associate Producer on a number of internationally recognized documentaries, including Penn & Teller's Magic and Mystery Tour (2000), Quest for
the Lost Tribes (1999), Jesus in Russia (1996), and the Emmy Award-winning The Selling of Innocents (1996).
Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Golubev is a graduate of the Ryerson Polytechnic University Radio and Television Arts program in Toronto.

Simcha Jacobovici is a multi award-winning documentary director and producer. He’s also a best selling author and an award-winning journalist. As a filmmaker,
his numerous awards include a Gold Medal from the International Documentary Festival of Nyon, a certificate of Special Merit from the Academy of Motion Picture
Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles, a Genie Award, three U.S. Cable Ace Awards, two Gemini Awards, an Alfred I. Dupont-Columbia University Award, a British Broadcast
Award, a Royal Television Society Award and the Edward R. Murrow Award. Jacobovici has also won the Emmy for "Outstanding Investigative Journalism" an unprecedented
three times in 1995, 1996 and 2007.
Recent films include Impact of Terror (CNN), Sex Slaves (CBC, C4, PBS Frontline), and The Exodus Decoded (History Channel), which Jacobovici produced with James Cameron.
As a journalist, Jacobovici’s pieces have appeared in many of the world’s top newspapers including the International Herald Tribune, The New York Times, The Boston Globe
and The Globe and Mail. Jacobovici has also been a guest lecturer on the campuses of Yale, Johns-Hopkins, UCLA, McGill and the University of Toronto, among others.
Jacobovici has made guest appearances on numerous television shows, including “The Today Show”, “Oprah” and “Larry King Live”. Presently, he’s the host of the History
Channel’s top rated archaeology series “The Naked Archaeologist”, now in its third season.
An Israeli-Canadian, Jacobovici has a B.A. in Philosophy from McGill University and a M.A. in International Relations from the University of Toronto. He speaks four
languages (English, Hebrew, French and Romanian).
